Call for Artists: Submit Your Work Here
Outside The Lens is calling all young photographers, artists, and media makers to participate in Voice Out, our second annual juried art show that celebrates the voices and stories of young local artists. At OTL, we believe in the power of youth voices to transform narratives and create meaningful change in our community. DEADLINE EXTENDED! Please submit your work by March 23rd, 2025.
OTL welcomes submissions from youth aged 8-19 in the categories of photography, mixed media, and short video/animation (under 30 seconds) that explore this year’s theme of “CHANGE.” Artists are encouraged to delve into their interpretation of the theme while considering the dynamic concepts of reinvention, transformation, and personal or collective growth. The deadline to submit is March 23rd, 2025, at 11:59 PM (PST).
Save the date for May 3rd, when all submitted artwork will be featured in a public exhibition. Local creatives, arts advocates, and youth artists and their family and friends, will gather at The Wonder Lab, Outside The Lens’ media lab in the East Village to connect, see all of the wonderful artwork, and celebrate youth voices!
If you have any questions about the submission process, send us a message at voiceout@outsidethelens.org. We’re happy to help!
